Music Ministries

Here at Georgetown First, we believe in the power of spirit-filled worship. "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20. The presence of God is a precious place to be and we are blessed to be joined by Him every Sunday. Music encourages a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit and the goal of our Music Ministry is to enhance our weekly service by providing that music.

Our Music Director, Kelli Evans, and Pianist and Organist, Dr. Rachel Taylor, join with the pastors to curate worship songs for the congregation. From familiar traditional hymns to contemporary songs you might hear on the radio, the worship service consists of several congregational songs as well as special music in each service.

Special music may consist of a beautiful piano arrangement played by Dr. Taylor, or a solo performed by a member of the congregation with their voice or another instrument, but most frequently will feature one of our music ensembles.

Our ministry ensembles are made up of members of every age and ability. From young to old, beginner to professional, everyone is welcome!
