Pastor Andrew Singh and his wife, Arpita, both grew up in India. Andrew attended his senior year of high school in Kansas, then studied at Southwestern College in Kansas and Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY.
They were married at Wesley Meadows UMC in Hodgenville, KY. Before returning to Georgetown First UMC as Senior Pastor in June 2023, Pastor Andrew served in Hodgenville, Georgetown First as Associate Pastor, and Erlanger UMC as Senior Pastor.
In 2022, after 11 years of marriage, God blessed them with their daughter, Ellie (Eliana Aaradhana Singh), who is a great joy and blessing in their lives.
Mignelis Lazcano
Associate Pastor
Pastor Mignelis Figueroa Lazcano is a native of Puerto Rico and the oldest daughter of pastor parents. She moved to Northern Kentucky in 2002 when her father began ministry as a church planter. In 2009, she relocated to Lexington to help grow Fuente de Avivamiento and later answered her own call to ministry, becoming a licensed local pastor in 2014.
In 2019, she was appointed by the Bluegrass District of the Kentucky Annual Conference to serve as a church planter for Hispanic communities, launching Cuerdas de Amor (Love Strings). The ministry worships at Wesley UMC in Georgetown and reaches neighborhoods through The Mobile Church T.G.I.F., focusing on 2nd- and 3rd-generation Hispanic adults, children, and youth.
Pastor Mignelis and her husband, Miguel Lazcano, have two children, Mireily Joyce and Miguel Jeremiah, and live in Georgetown. They are grateful to be part of the Georgetown 1st UMC family.
