Easter 2024 at Georgetown First

Holy Week commemorates Jesus’ last days on Earth and crucifixion. It leads up to the celebration of Easter Sunday. Please join us at Georgetown First United Methodist Church.

Easter Schedule:

• Easter in Five Letters, a Family Experience, Sunday, March 17 from noon-3pm in the gym. This is a FREE event for all. Make this Easter all about Jesus; all about the rugged cross and the empty tomb; all about the hope that endures and the love that never fails. Please sign up for your preferred time slot in the Narthex. There will be food trucks available to purchase lunch before or after your walk.
• Palm Sunday Worship, March 24 at 8:30 and 11:30am.
• Holy Thursday – March 28 at 6:30pm– Prayer Service with Wesley UMC at Georgetown First
• Good Friday – March 29 at 12noon– Community Service at Georgetown College Chapel
• Good Friday – March 29 at 7pm – Worship Service at Georgetown First
• Holy Saturday – March 30 at 11am – Hour of Prayer at Georgetown First
• Easter Sunday – March 31 at 7am – Sunrise Service at Georgetown First
• Easter Sunday – March 31 at 8:30 and 11am- Worship Service at Georgetown First
• Easter Sunday – March 31 at 9:45am – Hymn Sing and Decoration of the Cross (Flowers) at Georgetown First
