In-person worship will resume June 7, 2020
Based on the guidelines we’ve seen (that are referenced above) for a phased approach for reopening, your pastors believe June 7 is a reasonable deadline for us to reopen for in-person worship. We strongly discourage those with compromised immune systems and chronic illness to stay at home and share in our service online.
NOTE: We will continue to offer on-line worship service.
On that day we will celebrate Holy Communion together with individual cups that have juice and a wafer sealed inside. Arrangements will be made to deliver the elements in advance to those who request them OR they will be available for pickup during designated hours. More details about that later. We will share in communion at the church and online at the same time.
We also anticipate worshiping in both the sanctuary and gym simultaneously with a live feed to the gym. All worshipers will be required to wear a mask including pastors and staff except when leading the service or preaching. Social distancing will be required in both locations as well. More details to come prior to June 7.
