All Hallow’s Eve Service October 31 at 6:30pm
All Hallow’s Eve Service + Wednesday, October 31 at 6:30pm
Our regular Wednesday night dinner and Growth Groups will be suspended for Halloween to allow families to Trick or Treat with their kids. Halloween originally was called “All Hallows’ Eve,” a time in the Christian year dedicated to remembering the dead including the saints, martyrs and all the faithful departed.
We will have a Prayer and Remembrance Service—acknowledging those who have died in the past twelve months. We also light candles for loved ones who are with the Lord. We’ll conclude with Holy Communion. This starts at 6:30pm in the sanctuary. Pastor Greg will lead.
If you have a loved one you want included in the reading of names with photographs, please email the person’s name, age, date of death and photograph to Pastor Greg by Monday evening, October 29 OR drop off the photo and information to the office by 4:00pm Monday. We are only including the names and photos of persons who have passed away in the past twelve months (October 31, 2017 to November 1, 2018).
